Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your Gymal account and the data associated with it at any time. Below are the two ways to do this.
Option 1 — Delete inside the app (recommended)
This is the fastest method and removes everything immediately.
- Open the Gymal app.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the prompt (you may be asked to re-enter your password to verify it’s really you).
Once confirmed, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted from our servers.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app (uninstalled, lost device, can’t sign in), send an email to gymonzapp@gmail.com with:
- Subject:
Account deletion request
- Body: the email address associated with your Gymal account.
We will verify your ownership of the account (typically by asking you to reply from the email address tied to it) and delete your data within 30 days of receiving your verified request.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following are permanently removed:
- Your user profile (display name, email, settings, language, avatar, theme preferences)
- All your Gymal monsters and their stats
- Your workout history (exercises, sets, reps, weights, dates)
- Your cardio session history
- Your personal records
- Your achievements and progress
- Your inventory, coins, and purchased items
- Your battle history
- Your friendships and invitations
- Your daily/weekly challenge progress
- Your custom workout programs
What may be retained
Some records are retained after account deletion for legal and compliance reasons:
- Legal consent records: proof that you agreed to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy at sign-up. These are retained for the period required by applicable law (typically 6 years).
- Transaction records: Google Play retains records of any in-app purchases you made (we do not store payment card details — those are handled entirely by Google Play).
These retained records do not contain workout data, monster data, or any in-app activity — only the minimum necessary to satisfy legal requirements.
